previews Wedding Gaby and Chino

I was part of the big day of Gaby and Chino, a lovely couple that decided to say Yes forever.
I share a couple of photos previous to the ceremony and wedding . A celebration full of love and family.
I'll share more photos soon.

double batpism in Santa Delfina

When you live far away from your loved ones, the moments that you get to share are precious and lived in a different way.

You can also notice the way grandparents, uncles and aunts enjoy their granddaughter who lives abroad and when she is in town, everybody wants to hold and pamper her, and fill her with kisses.

I really enjoyed to be a part of the baptism of these cousins, and although today they lived far away from each other, they have a very interesting connection.
The church of Santa Delfina Designé in Guatemala City was the perfect setting for this special moment for the two families. Before the mass began, we took advantage of a wall outside the church to make some portraits with the families and babies.

Enjoy the photographs!

Cuenta Regresiva Photoshoot at the Zoo

In this blogpost I share a quite emotional Cuenta Regresiva photoshoot.
The location of the Aurora Zoo in Guatemala City was great, they gave us a VIP tour and we were able to interact closely with the animals.

During the photoshoot, the couple told me that due to family issues they had to change the date of the wedding, so this second date is quite special. I loved being able to see the brightness in the eyes of the couple for the near future.

I wish you the best in this new stage!

making handmade jewelery

A few days ago we went with my wife to design, and to make her own piece of jade jewelery in Xibalba Joyas, my job was to document the activity for her Blog Sin Manual de Instrucciones (recommended!). We often go to Antigua, but we forget to explore different activities like this one.

We started by seeing all the jade pieces available (it is a jewelry that doesn’t extract jade wholesale, so the process is very traditional). Andrea decided to make a Moon so we went into the workshop and with a lot of patience and help she was able to do the whole process from start to finish.

While making the jewel, I thought that this would be a very nice way to either make an engagement ring and be able to do it yourself, or go as a couple to make a jewel as a special gift and suddenly, he kneels and asks the question that will change the rest of their lives, aaallll right, so exciting!
On the other hand I could recommend to do this activity with children of a certain age. Not only will they take a precious jewel, but with a lot of meaning and a great story.
